African football is covered brilliantly and reported in a hundred places at once — a Lagos sports desk, a Nairobi radio site, a Casablanca daily, a continental federation notice. What has been missing is one place that gathers it, every day, for people who follow the game from home and from far away from it.

How it works

We read the sources that cover African football and publish a short brief on each story worth knowing: the headline, what happened, and the league it belongs to. Every brief ends with a link to the original article. The reporting stays with the newsroom that did it — we are the front page, not the byline.

Briefs are written from the source article and checked before they publish. Anything that fails a check is held back for a person to look at rather than pushed live.

What you can do here
